Welcome to angling adventures. The only website you can read about the angling adventures of Ricky and Paul two friends on their quest to catch as many species as possible in a year.

Read reports from the fisheries they visit the fish they catch and the tackle they used, not to mention the trouble they get in to. Their roving reporter otherwise known as teddy is always available to report should they either get arrested or seriously hurt themselves and with these two clowns either is very possible.

Read how they try to tempt some elusive Sturgeon to the hook, the methods they use to try and capture some big carp. Find out how a pole angler like Paul gets to grip with some carp rods and pva bags, or how Ricky gets on with 16 metres between his legs in the form of a pole.

This website aims to share their experience with you, what they struggled with, what they found worked, what they think of the tackle used. One thing to remember that even though this website is brought to you in association with jp-tackle, If we think some tackle is crap, trust me we will tell you, we are not here to try and sell you something.

We also hope to have some guest writers from all sectors of angling and hopefully some big names as well.

When we go on a angling adventure we hope to take you on one as well.

If you would like to contact either of us regarding our adventures please either contact us via here or visit http://www.matchpool.co.uk and contact either Rickster or Paul.S on there or email ricky directly at ricky(at)angling-adventures.co.uk . If we can help we will do. If you would like to invite us to your fishery for a review and have the review posted on here and matchpool, we are only too willing to come (no fees however waving the day ticket money is always appreciated.) It is worth also taking notice that any venue we have visited and put a review on here has come on the first 2 pages of major search engines, which means more visitors to your venure and if you have one website.

Thats all from us for now, however bookmark the site and check back for updates at regular intervals. Alternatively you can sign up to the site and then be notified when we come back from a adventure and tell us if there is somewhere where you would like us to visit in the south east.

In April, Ricky and Paul will be visiting the very exclusive Kevin Nash's personal lake (this is a private lake with no public access as yet). We are due to arrive on the 5th April for 3 days.  CANCELLED DUE TO FILMING TAKING PLACE AT THE LAKES

Instead of Kevin Nash's Lakes we have booked on to the very popular Elphicks fishery near Paddock wood in kent. The fishery comprises of some 7 or so lakes. Alot of people rave about this complex saying how good it is etc. We are going to fish one of their "runs" lakes where although the fish are not massive they should be enough to put a bend in the rod. After reading lots of information on the complex we cant wait to see if it lives up to the hype.  Expect a honest review soon. Remember we dont just review the fishing we review everything from how polite and helpful the staff are to how clean and tidy the complex to, the location, the scenery, we review everything. Elphicks have granted us permission to take photos and videos of the complex as well so expect a full multi-media review!

JUST CONFIRMED

We are going to revels fishery just outside of dorchester in May. Its a place Ricky has been to before but has always struggled. Can we tempt out some of the big carp and cat fish from there? Dont forget to check back to see our videos and photos plus a full report!

Dont forget if you would like us to come to your lake or river then drop us a email and we can make the arrangements.
