We are both members of Matchpool, We started chatting on there and Paul discovered that Ricky builds website, after a few months Paul approached Ricky to build a online store for JP-Tackle. Ricky went up to Maldon, Essex where we met for the first time.

We are both completly different anglers Paul being a pole fisherman and Ricky being a Carp angler so our first fishing trip was only recently, Pike fishing on Hythe Canal. Many people say that the fishing combination of a pole angler and a Carper will not work, however we have to disagree. Paul is there to offer guidance to Ricky for match fishing tactics and Ricky offers guidance to Paul for Carp/cats/predadtor fishing. We are sure this is a winning combination, bring over some match tactics to Carp angling and vice versa.
